SAVE THE DATE: Lupus Advocacy Day at the Michigan State Capitol

The Michigan Lupus Foundation is bringing the lupus community together at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing for a Lupus Advocacy Day on Tuesday, February 16, 2027.

Living with lupus means navigating challenges that extend far beyond the symptoms of the disease. Access to medications, health insurance policies, treatment options, disability protections and the cost of care can all have a profound impact on the lives of people with lupus. The foundation is actively engaged in state and federal advocacy efforts to educate policymakers on the real-world impact of insurance and drug access policies, while empowering patients to share their stories and participate in the legislative process to drive meaningful change for those living with lupus.

Lupus Advocacy Day is an opportunity for those living with lupus, caregivers, family members and supporters from across Michigan to make their voices heard by the lawmakers who shape healthcare policy in our state.
