THE MICHIGAN LUPUS FOUNDATION HOSTS AN EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN LANSING

(Michigan – April 6, 2024) – The Michigan Lupus Foundation held a lupus symposium on Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Lansing to educate those with lupus, friends and family, and medical professionals. Presentations included: “Lupus and the Antiphospholipid Syndrome” with Dr. Carol Beals, rheumatologist; “Plaquenil and the Eyes” with Dr. Bridget C. Grubb, O.D., L.O. Eye Care Grand Ledge; “Neurologic Manifestations of Systemic Lupus” with Dr. Amit Sachdev, neurologist; and “Get Uncomfortable: the Importance of Screening for your Kidney Health” with Chad Limones, Aurinia Pharmaceuticals.
